Generate Affordable Targeted Traffic For Your Online Business With Unique Article Wizard

December 29th, 2009 No comments

A good rule in generating income for your website is a steady flow of website traffic. You cannot make money, if no one visits your site.

If you want to maintain an income generating site, it takes money. It takes money to make money. On the positive side, it doesn’t take a lot of cash to generate website traffic for your site.

Big hit sites drive traffic to their site by spending tons of money. They invest in many advertising campaigns and different forms of marketing schemes. This is all worthwhile because, well, they are what they are now, high earning, big hitting websites.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money if you don’t have the resources the big hit sites do. There are many ways to generate low cost website traffic without having to spend what you don’t have or can’t afford. Spending a lot of money does not guarantee success. Many people have purchased high cost methods and have ended up losing their shirt.

Here are just a few ways to generate low cost website traffic. Exchanging Links is a sure and proven method. Many webmasters are willing to exchange links with one another so that they could produce more public awareness about their sites. You will soon see and feel the sudden upsurge of the traffic coming in to your site from other sites. Exchanging links also boosts your chances of getting a high ranking in search engine results.

Traffic Exchange is similar to exchanging links but on a different higher level. It could cost you a bit more than exchanging or trading links but could be made cheaper because you get to earn credits. Traffic exchange services are the viewing of anothers site or page. This is done vice versa where a site can use your sites contents and so can you to his or her site. Once again the public awareness of your sites existence is boosted.

Heart Jewelry Dates Back To WHEN???

December 29th, 2009 No comments

We have received so many wonderful responses on the articles regarding heart jewelry that we have written in the past. We thank you so much. Today we would like to write a more generic article regarding the history of jewelry in general. “Jewelry Making” as an art form has been around for thousands of years, and we see that different cultures have incorporated it in various ways. When we examine these pieces of jewelry we gain insight into how these various cultures worked…

If we take a look at the homo sapiens in Ancient Africa we see the first signs of a culture creating jewelry. Snail shell beads have been found at Blombos Cave in South Africa that date back to 75,000+ years ago. On the other side of Africa, at Enkapune Ya Moto in Kenya, beads made from ostrich egg shells have been found that date back to 40,000+ years ago.

When we think of Egypt we think of the pyramids and the sphinx, right? What about jewelry? Well, it is here that we find the first signs of established jewelry making around 3,000 – 5,000 years ago. Egyptians made their jewelry out of the same materials that we make jewelry out of today. For example, gemstones, but they preferred to make their jewelry out of glass, which they could color to satisfy their particular tastes. This meant that for every gemstone that they could find in nature, they were able to manufacture a glass replication that could mimic it. Other cultures have used the template of Egyptian jewelry in their own jewelry making. Consider the Phoenicians for example, who copied many Egyptian designs.

To the Ancient Egyptians color was very important, not only for the beauty, but because it meant different things. The Egyptian Book of the Dead provides us with more details. For example, the necklace of Isis that was to be place on the neck of a mummy needed to be red in color. They believed that this red color would satisfy Isis’s need for blood. Green jewelry, on the other hand, was used to symbolize growth in the area of crops and fertility. The Egyptians made their jewelry in large workshops that were often attached to palaces and temples.

Around 4000 years ago, in the cities of Sumer and Akkad in Ancient Mesopotamia, jewelry development and production started to spring up. This jewelry was often made from metal leaf. It was often set in a large number of brightly-colored stones (such as lapis, jasper, carnelian, and agate). Various shapes, such as grapes, leafs, spirals and cones were also incorporated into their various designs. The Ancient Mesopotamians were also masters in the area of record keeping, and they have found in various archaeological sites huge archives of detailed records relating to not only the creation, but the trading, of jewelry.

We hope you have enjoyed this little departure from our regular heart jewelry articles. It’s very interesting to see how this art form of jewelry making has developed over the years.

Can Your Business Handle A Significant Increase In Web Traffic?

December 29th, 2009 No comments

When you are running a business, whether large or small, the internet is a great tool for advertising, and bringing in new customers. Many business use SEO management to optimize their web sites, increasing the chances that customers will find the site when they are using a search engine, but if too many customers find the web site it may have a negative impact.

As you begin your online advertising campaign, you must keep in mind what is working and what does not, keeping a careful eye on your results and not allowing your internet growth to grow beyond the limits and capabilities of your business itself. Since many new business owners struggle to get attention on the web, once they are able to do so, it becomes almost addicting and they become so excited about the results that they just want more and more people to view their site.

While not enough advertising is not a good thing for any business, too much web advertising can be detrimental to your business. If you attract many new customers, but cannot provide the required products or services, this can have a serous negative impact on the reputation of your business. And what about your existing customers, who have helped make your business what is today, would they still be satisfied with the products or services they are getting? If your business grows to much too quickly, not only can you loose your new customers, because you are not able to meet the new demands, but you could also loose your existing customers, which could mean disaster for your business.

It may sound unreasonable to those who are still struggling to get noticed by the major search engine spiders like Google and Yahoo, but if you were to get a top ranking on Google, your business would sky rocket, and although that sounds like a good thing, if your business cant keep up with the customer flow than you are sunk. You really cant afford to take on more business than you can actually handle as this will leave dissatisfied customers and will eventually be the downfall of your business.

If you are looking to grow your business this is not a bad thing, but it is something that needs to be monitored and controlled. Part of this monitoring and control is managing you web advertising, and making sure you can handle the anticipated growth that this advertising will bring to your business.

Is Windows 7 Really Better Than Vista?

December 29th, 2009 No comments

This is really a loaded question. Windows Vista is probably the biggest failure in the history of Microsoft. From day one the operating system was plagued with numerous problems and angry users who suddenly missed their old XP or 2000 operating systems. It was almost impossible for Microsoft to release an operating system that was worse then Vista, or more hated, so if that were the case the reputation of Windows may have been irreparably harmed. That being said, Microsoft’s Windows 7 operating system is far superior to not only Vista, but all of the Windows operating systems that came before it.

Before the official launch of Windows 7, Microsoft did a test with a sample set of users to make sure they were not going to receive the same negative backlash they received with Vista. The users were comprised of individuals who used Windows for personal use only (61% of the testers), individuals who used Windows both personally and professionally (25 % of the testers) and individuals who used Windows strictly professionally (14% of the testers). The individuals who were tested also represented users who were installing Windows 7 on a PC that already had Vista, and users where Windows 7 was the only operating system ever installed on that PC.

The results of this testing were very good for Microsoft and Windows 7. Only a very small fraction of the testers has trouble with the installation of Windows 7, which is to be expected when you are installing any new operating system onto a PC. The one area of the installation which caused the most issues for the testers was compatibility with drivers and other software, which again is to be expected when installing a new operating system. A handful of the testers did end up having their computer crash during the installation process, however the percentage of users who encountered this was very small. This testing helped Microsoft prove that the installation of Windows 7 is significantly better than the Windows Vista installation, and the very small number of issues that arose during testing should not be a concern for consumers.

As for the rest of testing, after the installation was complete, the results for Windows 7 were outstanding. When Microsoft tested Windows Vista almost half of the testers said they were not satisfied with the operating system, which foreshadowed the feelings that the PC community would have for Vista. For Windows 7 only 5% of the testers said they were not satisfied with the operating system.

It looks as if Microsoft has finally made a superior operating system with the release of Windows 7 and as long as they continue to update and manage the problems that arise, there should be no reason why people should not switch over with fabulous results. And Vista users especially will notice right away the superior performance of Windows 7 over their current Vista program. What a difference!

What Is Google Earth

December 29th, 2009 No comments

When Google Earth first came on the scene people thought it was great fun to hop online and check out where they were and local and foreign landmarks, as well as other points of interest around the globe. With many interesting facts and figures on countries and the economy, it was easy to see what the draw was.

Google Earth provides much more than this, it also provides much need information to emergency service workers throughout the United States and the world. It helps them quickly locate destinations that might otherwise be beyond their scope and in a very effective way that allows them to specify their searches to things like abandon buildings in a suspect region or can help to find travelers who have lost their way or become injured in desolate regions.

Because Google Earth is free to use, and is available to anyone with a PC and an internet connection, the ability to use Google Earth by emergency services personnel is available to every state, city, and town. While bigger cities were the first to adopt this technology many smaller towns are now adding Google Earth to their existing tools, making the job of first responders on the ground easier. Google Earth even has the ability to be enhanced, allowing fire fighters to have real time information on where a fire is, where it is spreading, and the best way to stop the spread of a large fire. This information in invaluable to those in command, whether it is the fire department or any other emergency services units. Google Earth is helping emergency services personnel save lives, and respond to situations more quickly and more efficiently.

Google Earth does not have the satellites in place that would be required to provide real time feeds to emergency services personnel on site, however the images available on Google Earth are pretty close to real time. In addition to the most up to date maps available, Google Earth also provides extra information to emergency services command centers that they do not make available to civilian users of Google Earth.

Google continues to introduce state of the art technology to its users that cover a wide variety of topics, from personal to professional. Google is truly a remarkable company that is constantly working to provide the best, most innovative products, possible.
